About The Role In this role, you’ll be the strategic voice behind our content marketing and brand engagement initiatives, responsible for crafting, optimizing and leading our content engine across content marketing blogs, marketing emails, organic social media, internal communications, and talent branding initiatives. As the guardian of our brand’s pulse, you’ll use your words to engage new audiences, deepen customer loyalty, attract top talent, and bring our vision to life. You’re someone who blends storytelling with conversion psychology, knows how to pack a punch into social media character limits, write engaging long-form editorial content, and structure content for discoverability across modern and AI-driven search engines – and loves seeing your words drive actual results. Your Responsibilities: Leveraging strong writing and deep content strategy expertise to craft compelling, on-brand, error-free content for content marketing blogs, marketing emails, organic social channels and talent brand communications. Interpreting and building upon creative briefs to deliver digital messages including lifecycle marketing emails, blog articles, social media posts, employer brand messaging and recruitment campaign content. Ensuring that messaging fits its delivery format, channel or stage of the consumer or candidate journey, and incorporates standard SEO, AI search visibility, user experience and accessibility standards. Partnering closely with graphic designers, editors, localization specialists, process managers and project managers to facilitate cohesive, deadline-driven work. Developing and maintaining systems and best practices for content creation, maintenance and repurposing. Using appropriate tools, frameworks and design systems to do so. Interpreting business priorities, reviewing performance metrics (such as open rates, click-through rates and social engagement) from current or previous communications, and developing strategies for creative messaging to influence them. Presenting to internal stakeholders, advocating for content strategies and best practices, and anchoring recommendations with reasoning. Demonstrating knowledge of evolving industry trends and technology, including AI adoption, and adapting creative strategies to leverage them effectively. Conducting periodic competitive audits across industry content, social channels and talent acquisition marketing. Basic Qualifications 4+ years of experience in multichannel content creation (content marketing, copywriting, social media, blogging, digital email marketing, talent/employer branding, etc.) 4+ years of experience writing and editing professional copy. Demonstrated proficiency with CP Style and adherence to internal brand style guides. Produced marketing emails, editorial blogs, organic social posts, and talent attraction content across digital channels. Adobe Workfront or comparable work management software (working knowledge). Track record of managing concurrent projects, maintaining copy decks, meeting deadlines, and delivering status updates in a variable workflow environment. Experience collaborating and negotiating directly with cross-functional stakeholders, including marketing, product, legal, and process teams. Working knowledge of accessibility, plain language and SEO best practices. Experience adapting content strategies and workflows to evolving business priorities and requirements. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, public relations or a related communications field. Experience in financial services, insurance or other highly regulated industries. Experience working for an in-house creative team or a creative agency. Experience using professional AI tools to scale content production and optimizing copy for generative AI search tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini). Proficiency in enterprise marketing platforms, including email creation tools (Taxi for Email, Chamaileon, or Knak), marketing automation platforms (HubSpot or Salesforce Marketing Cloud), content experience platforms (Uberflip), and social media publishing software.
