Responsibilities
Tasks
- Publicize activities, workshops, meetings and other events for fundraising or information purposes
- Act as spokesperson for an organization
- Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies
- Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions
- Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys
- Plan and direct advertising and marketing campaigns
- Develop and implement marketing and advertising and sales strategies
- Assess requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased
- Arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, etc.
- Review written material, such as reports, briefs, speeches, presentations and press releases
- Implement new strategies and programs touching public relations
- Develop social programs
