Technical Superintendent in Hamilton

Join Ocean Group's Hamilton office as a Technical Superintendent, leading vessel maintenance and mechanical repairs for optimal operations in Ontario. In this role, you'll coordinate day-to-day management of fleet maintenance using preventive maintenance programs, alongside supervisors and crew. Your contributions will impact maritime incident investigations and mechanical audits while promoting safety standards. Your expertise will influence ongoing performance metrics across technical, safety, and budgetary levels. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily vessel maintenance activities using preventive programs
• Provide technical support for compliance with regulations
• Plan inspections for vessel certification alongside the team
• Investigate maritime incidents affecting ships and environment
• Conduct mechanical audits in line with regulatory requirements

• College graduate in naval engineering or related field
• Experience in similar role is an asset
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel frequently for site needs
