Financial Systems Specialist

Job Responsibility: Financial Systems Specialist Full-time Contract | 35 hours per week | 6 Months Contract | Hybrid

Reporting to Finance Manager, you will support the finance and accounting team during the transition from GoldCare to Business Central. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, systems, and processes, with proven experience in implementing and supporting Business Central ERP. This role demands meticulous attention to detail in data management, along with a commitment to continuous process improvement and system updates. Additionally, the role includes developing comprehensive documentation for accounting processes and internal controls using the Business Central 365.

This is a hybrid position based out of CHATS head office in Aurora. You will be required to attend office 1-2 days per week.

What you bring to the role:

• Bachelor's degree in information systems & technology, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field.
• CPA designation or CPA student status with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is a strong asset.
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Business Central ERP.
• Strong interpersonal abilities with a background in decision support, capable of providing effective guidance and support to non-finance managers.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude, including troubleshooting system issues and adjusting/maintaining configurations to meet evolving business needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, eager to learn, and willing to share knowledge.
• Experience in healthcare, particularly with Ontario Healthcare Reporting Standards, is an asset.
• Experience in project management is an asset.
• Exceptional computer skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office 365. Familiarity with TEAMS is also beneficial.
• Experience with GoldCare software is an asset.
