The Role: Senior FX Artist

As a Senior FX Artist at Outpost, you are a technical architect and a digital artist rolled into one. You will be responsible for creating complex, large-scale simulations that seamlessly integrate into live-action footage. From the subtle drift of atmosphere to the violent chaos of a cinematic explosion, your work provides the “wow” factor that audiences remember.

Key Responsibilities

• Simulation Excellence: Design and execute high-end FX simulations including fire, smoke, water, particles, and rigid body dynamics (RBD).

2. Artistic Sensibility: You possess a strong sense of timing, weight, and scale. You understand the physics of the real world and know how to bend them for cinematic effect.

3. VFX Pedigree: Significant experience working on high-level VFX projects (Feature Film or High-End Episodic). You understand the rigors and standards of a professional pipeline.

4. Problem-Solving: The ability to look at a complex creative request and break it down into a logical, technical execution plan.
