Senior Business Analyst – Broadridge ICI Upgrade & Fixed Income Operations Hybrid – Toronto, ON (Preferred) | Open to NYC as well 6-Month Contract (W2), Weekly Pay (40 Hours/Week) Potential for Extension or Conversion Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a critical Broadridge Impact Customer Interface (ICI) Upgrade initiative within a Capital Markets and Securities Operations environment. This role will play a key part in helping the organization modernize its Broadridge platform by upgrading from a significantly outdated version to a more current release, unlocking new business capabilities and preparing for future DTCC modernization efforts. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Broadridge ICI, Fixed Income Operations, and back‑office processing workflows. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between Operations, Technology, and Broadridge while leading impact assessments, testing strategy development, requirements documentation, and downstream application analysis. This is a highly visible role requiring strong business analysis skills, extensive operational knowledge, exceptional documentation capabilities, and prior experience supporting Broadridge platform upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Impact Assessment

• Lead business analysis activities supporting a large‑scale Broadridge ICI upgrade initiative.
• Analyze and document the impact of version upgrades across Operations, Technology, and downstream systems.
• Review and assess hundreds of platform enhancements, configuration changes, and functionality updates included in the recent ICI release.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify operational impacts and required process changes.
• Develop detailed business requirements, functional specifications, impact assessments, and process documentation.
• Translate complex system changes into actionable business requirements for operational and technology teams.

Broadridge ICI & Fixed Income Operations

• Serve as the subject matter expert for Broadridge ICI functionality and operational workflows.
• Support Fixed Income Operations teams by assessing impacts to trade processing, settlements, customer maintenance, and back‑office functions.
• Analyze file‑based integrations between Broadridge and downstream applications.
• Document changes to inbound and outbound file structures resulting from platform upgrades.
• Trace functional platform changes through downstream business processes and supporting applications.

Testing Strategy & Coordination

• Lead development of end‑to‑end testing strategies for the ICI upgrade program.
• Create and maintain SIT and UAT test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Partner with Operations teams to develop functional test cases based on business process changes.
• Coordinate testing activities across business, operations, and technology teams.
• Support defect triage, issue resolution, regression testing, and production readiness efforts.
• Assist in building a repeatable regression testing framework to support future Broadridge upgrades.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Act as the primary liaison between Operations, Technology teams, and Broadridge.
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements, impacts, and testing objectives.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and dependencies to leadership.
• Partner with technical teams to ensure business requirements are properly understood and implemented.
• Provide clear documentation and traceability between platform enhancements, file changes, business requirements, and testing activities.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of Business Analysis experience within Capital Markets, Securities Operations, or Financial Services environments.
• Deep expertise with Broadridge ICI (Impact Customer Interface).
• Prior experience supporting one or more Broadridge ICI upgrade initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Fixed Income products and operational workflows.
• Experience working within Securities Operations, Settlements, Trade Support, or Back‑Office Operations environments.
• Proven ability to conduct impact assessments and document business and operational requirements.
• Experience writing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, SIT Test Cases, UAT Test Cases, Test Plans, Process Flows.
• Strong experience analyzing file‑based integrations and downstream system impacts.
• Exceptional documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to effectively bridge communication between business, operations, and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working directly with Broadridge implementation or upgrade teams.
• Knowledge of DTCC workflows and post‑trade processing.
• Experience supporting securities settlements and clearing operations.
• Familiarity with wealth management or fixed‑income processing platforms.
• Previous experience building regression testing frameworks.
• Experience supporting modernization or transformation initiatives within Capital Markets environments.
