Director of Real Estate Financing

Lead debt financing for a major real estate company across Canada and the U.S. as the Director of Real Estate Debt & Financing. This hands-on leadership role offers exposure to strategic transactions and direct access to executive decision-makers.
Our client, a diversified real estate investment firm, seeks an experienced leader to enhance their debt financing strategies. The ideal candidate will manage debt execution across acquisitions, refinancing, and development projects while leading a team of analysts. Your role will involve close collaboration with various stakeholders, requiring in-depth financial knowledge and strong negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop strategies for debt financing across North America
• Structure financing for diverse real estate projects
• Source and negotiate with lenders and financial partners
• Manage transactions from discussions to funding
• Lead underwriting and financial analysis of deals
Requirements:
• 5+ years in commercial real estate finance
• Strong understanding of U.S. and Canadian financing markets
• Proven negotiation and transaction management skills
• Fluency in English and French
• Leadership experience with junior finance professionals
