Hybrid Associate Director, Strategic Finance

Elevate your finance career with Canadian Blood Services as the Associate Director, Strategic Finance Partnering. This hybrid position allows you to lead key portfolios while fostering financial insight and strategic decision-making. As a pivotal finance leader reporting to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will develop a team of Strategic Finance Partners. Your efforts will enhance business partnering consistency across areas such as Research & Innovation and Supply Chain. You will convert complex financial concepts into insights, helping operational leaders make informed decisions. Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor and guide a team of finance professionals
- Strengthen business partnering practices across departments
- Provide strategic analysis on complex stakeholder issues
- Develop tools for translating financial data into business insights
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership
- Extensive experience in financial planning in complex environments
- Strong capabilities in budgeting, forecasting, and modeling
- Excellent relationship-building skills across teams
- Experience with operationally intensive environments
- Strong communication and storytelling skills
