Store Associate

Payzant Building Products Limited is looking for energetic team players with a passion for helping customers. You'll greet clients, answer questions, and recommend products and solutions to meet their needs.

Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to jump in and solve problems quickly will help you succeed. In this role, you'll ensure customers leave the store satisfied while supporting the store's overall success and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Experience Associate

• Greet and engage with contractors and retail customers as they enter our store.
• Provide information about products/services
• Assist in locating product either in store, or on homehardware.com.
• Assist in planning and quoting projects, providing detailed information and pricing to help customers make informed decisions.
• Process special orders, including tracking, updating customers on status, and ensuring orders are correct and complete upon arrival.
• Build special displays and signage for sales, promotions and other special events.
• Keep shelves stocked, neat and clean. And ensure storage area is maintained and orderly.
• Check incoming merchandise against invoices to spot shortages, damaged goods, back-orders, etc.
• Unload merchandise as it is delivered.
• Work in a safe manner in accordance to provincial and federal safety legislation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent, positive communication skills
• Willingness and desire to learn
• Experience in building products considered an asset.
