Senior Mining Planning Manager at Amrize

Shape the future of mining with Amrize as a Senior Resource & Mining Planning Manager. Utilize your expertise in resource management and mine planning to drive operations in Central Canada. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the assessment and reporting of aggregate reserves while ensuring compliance with SEC SK-1300 regulations. You will lead a dynamic team, collaborate with cross-functional groups, and create mining plans aimed at optimizing resource utilization. This position requires strong technical skills in geological software and a deep understanding of mining regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage aggregate reserves for Central Canada region
- Develop short- and long-term mining plans
- Collaborate with business units on mining implementation
- Lead geological investigations and modeling projects
- Ensure operational safety and regulatory compliance
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mining or geosciences
- Minimum 10 years in mining or construction materials
- P.Eng or P.Geo certification required
- Proficient in mine planning software and GIS
- Willing to travel to sites regularly
