Director Of Finance Winnipeg

Our client, a multinational company with offices in the US and Canada, is seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead their financial operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the finance department, developing and implementing financial strategies, and ensuring the company’s financial health. Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the finance and accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions Develop and implement financial strategies to improve the company’s financial health Monitor financial performance and prepare financial reports for management Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations Provide financial analysis and support to other departments Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and other financial partners Participate in the development and implementation of business strategies and plans Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications

CPA Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA 8+ years of experience in a finance leadership role Robust knowledge of accounting principles and practices Experience in financial analysis and forecasting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of accounting software is a plus
