City Program Manager, Water Demand Strategy

Enhance the City’s drinking water initiatives as the Program Manager focused on Demand Management. Your expertise will ensure effective water conservation and management practices. This full-time position is crucial for leading the City’s Drinking Water Demand Management Program. The role involves the strategic design and implementation of policies aimed at reducing water consumption and improving system efficiency. You will engage with stakeholders, oversee budgets, and ensure alignment with sustainability objectives affecting water resources. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage strategic planning for the Drinking Water Demand Management Program
- Oversee implementation of water conservation initiatives
- Organize public outreach and educational campaigns
- Conduct analysis for water user sectors and design engagement strategies
- Manage updates to municipal water conservation policies
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Sustainability
- At least eight years in water resource management and policy development
- Strong analytical capabilities and data management skills
- Proven leadership in managing teams and projects
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
