Program Manager (Risk Management)

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Program Manager to join an enterprise retail company on a 12-month contract in Vancouver, BC. This role sits at the center of Fulfillment Planning and acts as a Program Manager focused on risk management and readiness, especially around peak events like Cyber 5 and holiday. You will partner cross‑functionally across product, merchandising, finance, and fulfillment teams to align demand, inventory placement, and distribution center (DC) capacity, ensuring the business is set up to deliver on both cost and service.

On a daily basis, this person is connecting multiple data points and stakeholder inputs, identifying risks, and building structured recommendations for leadership. This includes creating executive‑level presentations, facilitating alignment meetings, and challenging assumptions to improve planning outcomes. The role is less about deep analytics and more about synthesizing complexity, driving clarity, and enabling decision‑making across a highly matrixed organization.

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a Consulting, Business Analyst, Program Management or Project Management capacity
• Strong ability to distill complex problems and build structured recommendations
• Experience creating executive‑level PowerPoint decks and presentations
• Experience in demand forecasting and/or demand planning
• Retail or consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience (inventory, merchandising, or product exposure)
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence without authority
• Highly proactive, curious, and comfortable operating in ambiguity
• Consulting background (e.g., Deloitte, Accenture, McKinsey, etc.)
• Strategy & Operations experience
• Supply chain experience
• Merchandising experience
• Experience with Jira and/or Confluence
