Job Title: Data Entry / Document Scanner

Location: Toronto, Ontario. Close by the major intersection ofKeele & Finch

Shift/Hours : Monday to Friday, Days: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm or Afternoons: 4:30 pm to 12:00 am

Pay: $17.95/hr

The role is based at a records management facility and focuses on document handling and scanning preparation, along with data entry tasks. The work environment is a warehouse-style office, not a standard office setting, and tasks are performed independently at a designated scanning station.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Preparation of documents for scanning by removing of staples and bindings to ensure efficient document processing
• Quality Assurance to verify the accuracy of documents scanned
• Using scanning equipment
• Data Entry and indexing into various databases.
• Quality Control and review of output images for proper resolution and overall quality
• Printing and assembling of documents into various bindings
• Utilize computerized data entry equipment and various word processing and spreadsheets to enter necessary information.
• Working with colleagues in a team environment

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail
• Intermediate skills in Adobe and Internet
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required
• Computer skills, including experience with MS Office - Word and Excel.
• Able to work in an environment with minimal supervision
• Ability to interact with all levels of management in a very professional manner

• Ability to perform the same repetitive task for long periods
• Able to function in a fast-paced environment.
