Product Manager“Compact construction equipment industry, Tractor industry, Turf industry & RTV industry”Job PurposeOwnership Agricultural,Compact, off highway, RTV, Turf Equipment product portfolios, and all associated KPI’s for the line, including:- Overall market share and volume targets- Operational Earnings targets- NPS results pertaining to product· Development of short, mid and long term strategies for product portfolio· Project lead for cross functional activities/projects required to execute product strategy / reach line KPI’s including, but not limited to:o New Product Introduction processo Tactical and strategic sales and marketing initiatives, retail incentive programs, etc.o Business planning for portfolioo Product knowledge asset creation, curation and rollout● Drafting of project proposals with business plans required to support product portfolio KPI targetsResponsibilities:· Monitor and evaluate market conditions, competitor activities and market trends to formulate Product Portfolio Strategies and Vision to support key objectives· Full understanding of product line & key objectives, and how they relate:o Volume, share and operational earnings targets per producto Competitive product positioning● Understanding of requirements of each marketplaces contributions towards overall product line goals.● Identification, proposal and ownership of projects and business cases (including new product, continuous product improvement, product training and product sales/marketing opportunities) as required to meet product line goals, leveraging the above.● Travel for field research, dealer education/training/demonstration and participation at trade shows and special events and Strategic meetings with our partners In depth support and input on new product development for the Canadian market● Propose, and act as lead for, projects intended to directly advance the success of the product linesQualifications:● University degree or equivalent experience required● Extensive knowledge of Agricultural or Compact or off highway or RTV, Turf Equipment industry or related● equipment fields required.● Sales, marketing and product management experience strongly preferred.● Plan for new product launch and product promotion w/marketing support● Ability to positively influence cross functional teams● Understanding of intermediate level of business economics (P&L, margins, market share analysis, retail financing, incentive programs etc.)● Expectation of travel time approx. 30% out of office primarily in North American locations. Occasional (0-2 times per year) trips to Japan possible. Must hold valid passport, driving license and have the ability to travel to US, Japan and within Canada.
