Commercial Banking Relationship Manager

Support BMO’s Commercial Sales & Service group with business banking expertise, customer sales, and financial analysis at 6605 Hurontario Street.This Relationship Manager Trainee assignment focuses on small business clients and an assigned portfolio or jurisdiction. You develop networks, referral sources, and business plans to support customer retention. You also interpret financial statements, assess creditworthiness, explain lending documentation, and provide recommendations aligned with stakeholder needs and business strategy.Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of small business clientsBuild networks and external referral sourcesMaintain business plans and retention strategiesAnswer product and service inquiries accuratelyResolve or escalate customer issues appropriatelyRequirements:
Four to six years of relevant experiencePost-secondary degree in a related fieldStrong knowledge of lending processes and loan documentationStrong customer sales and service experienceIn-depth communication, problem-solving, and influence skillsBring business banking knowledge, lending expertise, and customer service skills to BMO’s commercial client portfolio and growth objectives.
