Functional Training and Group Fitness Instructor

Big Brand Name - Canadian Owned and Operated Franchise with 3 clubs in the Greater Vancouver Area Key Responsibilities- Must be available mornings and/or evenings
- Lead a variety of group fitness classes such as Spinning, HIIT, bootcamps, strength training, conditioning, yoga, and Pilates
- Arrive 10–15 minutes before class to engage with members, answer questions, and welcome new participants
- Identify and support first-time participants, assessing fitness levels in a respectful and private manner
- Deliver clear, effective instruction while maintaining an engaging and safe class environment
- Monitor participants to ensure proper form and provide modifications for different fitness levels
- Ensure all equipment is safe and set up properly for class use
- Set up and dismantle audio/visual equipment as needed
- Encourage member participation and promote group fitness programs
- Minimum 6 months of experience leading group fitness classes
- Strong understanding of exercise techniques, group fitness principles, and basic anatomy
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills
- Professional, organized, and self-motivated
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot audio equipment
- Group Fitness Certification (BCRPA, ACE, AFAA, ACSM, or equivalent)
- Current First Aid / CPR certification

Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
