Delivery Driver
$18 - $19 per hourManpower
Our client, in the logistics and transportation industry, is seeking a Delivery Driver to join their team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be part of the operations team supporting daily delivery services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Delivery Driver
Location: Dartmouth, NS
Pay Range: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
Shift: Start at 8am, Monday through Saturday, based on delivery needs
What's the Job?
- Operate a 5-ton Class 5 delivery truck to transport goods to various locations within the region
- Unload products efficiently and safely, ensuring accurate delivery to customers
- Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards of the delivery vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during deliveries
What's Needed?
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Clean driving abstract and valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Steel-toed shoes are required for safety
- Availability to start immediately and work flexible days including Saturday
