This position will expose you to Qualcomm\u2019s cutting-edge CPU, GPU and NPU features, and ML/AI acceleration needed for the industry.\n\nQualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.\n\n\n\nor\n\n * Masters degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or related field\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * 10+ years of experience in SW design, development on embedded platforms\n * Strong programming skills in C/C++ \u0026 Python.\n * Knowledge of Compute DSPs, Hexagon OS, FastRPC is plus\n * Knowledge of QNX, Yocto Linux, Android OS is plus\n * Experience with JTAG debugging, GDB, crash analysis is plus\n * Fast learner, with strong technical background, problem solution experience and customer focus\n * Experience in a customer facing role is a plus\n\n\n\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:\n\n * Support Compute DSPs, FastRPC on Automotive platforms for AI/ML and related workloads to run ADAS, GenAI usecases\n * Interact with regional customer facing teams to drive customer projects\n * Participate in cross department initiatives \u0026 activities to solve technical problems with cross-functional team.\n * Contributing towards the continuous development \u0026 innovation of tools, technology and user experience\n * Develops new and innovative ideas for a product or feature area.\n * Drives triage of problems at the system level to determine root cause and presents results of testing and debugging to team members.\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. \nOR \nMaster\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. \nOR \nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. \n \n\u2022 2+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. \n\u2022 1+ year of experience with debugging techniques.\n\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
