Burning Table Operator - metal fabrication Nickel City Steel Limited Location 100 Columbus Court Lively, ON Salary 25.00 to 30.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 35 to 55 hours per week Full time Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Overtime available Starts as soon as possible Benefits: Health benefits, Financial benefits Languages English Education No degree, certificate or diploma Experience 5 years or more Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting Metal product fabrication industry Platework manufacturing company Structural steel fabrication company Responsibilities: Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products Document work completed Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist Experience and specialization Equipment and machinery experience AutoCAD Brakes Drills Lifting device Overhead crane Saws Shears Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines Metal forming or shaping operations experience Cutting machine Additional information Transportation/travel information Own vehicle Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities Attention to detail Fast-paced environment Handling heavy loads Work under pressure Weight handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) More than 45 kg (100 lbs) Own tools/equipment Safety glasses/goggles Steel-toed safety boots Tools Benefits Health benefits Dental plan Health care plan Financial benefits Pension plan Until: 2026-07-05
