We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable/ Payroll Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in the company's payroll and accounts payable processes. This involves matching up the packing slip to the invoices and entering data in the system. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with various accounting software, namely QuickBooks & Microsoft Office.

Duties

• Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees
• Calculate pay according to hours worked, incorporating leaves and overtime
• Calculate bonuses and commissions when appropriate
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll
• Prepare and submit reports with payroll information to the supervisor
• Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness before payment.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience in Payroll/Accounts Payable is preferred, however willing to train the right person.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks
• Knowledge of accounts receivable processes is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

PAY: Depends on Experience

Pay: $27.50-$30.00 per hour
