Seeking Actors for Afterglow Roles (Ottawa)

Join our cast of Afterglow, a moving psychological drama that navigates love and loss. We're seeking actors to portray Mark and Laura, who embody the story's deep emotional currents. In Afterglow, Mark is an emotionally guarded young man grappling with a life‑threatening illness, while Laura offers warmth and resilience in his turbulent journey. These roles require sensitivity and the ability to convey profound emotions as the characters confront their realities together.
Responsibilities
- Capture Mark's struggle and humor
- Exhibit Laura's strength and calmness
- Participate in emotionally rich interactions
- Support the narrative through powerful performances
- Work closely with the director to refine character depth
Requirements
- Male actor aged 20-35 for Mark’s character
- Female actor aged 20-35 for Laura's character
- Demonstrated experience in emotional or dramatic roles
- Ability to connect meaningfully with co-stars
