AstraZeneca seeks an Intellectual Property Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support to the IP team in Mississauga. The role involves managing patent and trademark documentation, maintaining IP records, coordinating filings, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for global patent prosecution and trademark activities, including document management and correspondence tracking
- Maintain accurate IP records, deadlines, and matter information in IP management systems
- Assist in preparation, submission, monitoring, and follow-up of IP filings under attorney direction
- Coordinate communications and information exchanges with internal teams, external counsel, and IP vendors
- Support IP reporting, data retrieval, and analysis while following quality standards and controls
Requirements
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient written and spoken English communication
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to learning
- Basic data entry or records management experience
- Knowledge of or demonstrated interest in intellectual property (desirable)
- Prior administrative or coordination experience in corporate, legal, or research settings (desirable)
Compensation: $79,026–$103,722 CAD base annually
