Compliance Engineer for Product Integrity

Elevate your career as a Compliance Engineer with Ciena's Product Integrity team. Lead regulatory compliance projects for cutting-edge optical transport products in this dynamic role. In this position, you will collaborate closely with product development teams to define and manage compliance requirements. You will scope test programs to ensure compliance with EMC and safety standards and assist sales teams with conformity assessments. Your expertise will be key in navigating global regulations and enhancing product integrity. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on regulatory test requirements and compliance programs
- Design and document product to meet conformance standards
- Scope and manage compliance test programs
- Work with test partners for compliance certification
- Assist in product homologation activities
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- 7 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of telecom commercial standards and country approvals
- Familiarity with global EMC standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
