Job Responsibility: Company Description

Kenn Borek Air (KBA) is a diversified worldwide aircraft charter and leasing operation. The KBA Maintenance team is currently seeking an External Sales and Purchasing Expeditor. This full time position is based in Calgary, AB working Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Under the general supervision of the External Sales and Purchasing Manager, this entry-level position is responsible to maintain records of sales and purchase orders, expediting the orders, moving the aircraft parts as required, monitoring shipping notices to avoid potential delays with deliveries, scheduling and coordinate activities with multiple departments to meet customers' requirements. The ability to interact with staff in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Expert written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail are equally important.

Major Responsibilities of the Role:

• Maintain certification files and related documentation
• Produce reports from the Aircraft Management System (AMS)
• Responsible for timely packaging and shipping of the orders
• Liaise with Aircraft Maintenance and Shipping departments
• Maintain updated records of customer purchase orders, invoices, and contracts
• Understand, comply with, and promote all company safety precautions and policies, including reporting hazards and incidents encountered during daily operations
• Perform and complete other duties assigned by the External Sales and Purchasing Manager.
• Assist in creating/updating purchasing reports
• Notify the end user and buyer of any delays in delivery

Qualifications

• 1 - 2 years of dedicated experience in materials management and inventory control
• Demonstrated high proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to obtain a Transport Canada airside pass
• Valid Canadian driver's license
• Ability to lift and move heavy loads up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with AMS, inventory tracking software, and aviation paperwork is considered an asset
