Job Title: Production Coordinator Location: On site Company: Freemark Apparel Brands Inc.
Position Summary: Freemark Apparel Brands is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to support the end-to-end product lifecycle from development through delivery. This individual will play a key role in managing timelines, coordinating with suppliers, maintaining purchase order accuracy, and ensuring timely production for our wholesale partners.
The ideal candidate has experience in apparel production, strong organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor production timelines and critical paths for all orders
- Communicate daily with overseas factories and vendors to ensure timely delivery
- Track purchase orders, approvals, and shipping schedules
- Maintain and track overseas parcel shipments, ensuring timely receipt and accurate documentation
- Manage daily FedEx shipments and receptions, including drop-offs and pickups of samples and key documents
- Manage and update WIP (work-in-progress) reports
- Organize and maintain production documentation and files
- Support costing and sample management with the production and design teams
- Assist with resolving production issues such as delays, quality control, or compliance concerns
- Collaborate with internal departments including design, tech, logistics, and sales
- Ensure all production meets Costco and other retailer compliance and packaging requirements
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in apparel production or a related field
- Strong understanding of production processes, timelines, and terminology
- Familiarity with retail standards, particularly with Costco (a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with PLM systems is a bonus
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities
- Bonus: Having access to a car for occasional FedEx package drop-offs (gas costs will be covered)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,113.86-$65,000.00 per year
