Toronto Group Benefits Consultant Role

Take on a pivotal role as a Group Benefits Consultant in Toronto with a prestigious consulting firm known for its focus on quality work and no sales targets. Engage with some of the largest employers to offer bespoke benefits solutions. This Canadian firm is on the lookout for a seasoned consulting professional with 10-15 years of relevant experience. You will advise clients on designing and optimizing their group benefits plans while mentoring junior staff. Your role will also involve leading insurance negotiations and supporting new business initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain key client relationships
- Advise clients on benchmarked benefits plans and renewals
- Oversee carrier negotiations for optimum outcomes
- Identify and develop new client engagement opportunities
- Mentor junior consultants to enhance team performance
- Experience in group benefits consulting or brokerage for 10-15 years
- Strong background in client relationship management
- Evidence of successful business development efforts
- Ability to manage several clients effectively
- French language skills are an advantage
