On Behalf of our client, Leading Transportation company in Quebec . Protrans Personnel Services, is currently looking for an Midnight Dispatcher
What's In It for You?- Pay Rate: Based on experience
- Hours of Work:
- 12pm to 8pm (Monday to Friday)
- Pay Rate: $26.65/hr ( Paid Weekly on Fridays)
- Location: Dorval (Near Montreal Airport)
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 Year experience in a Dispatcher or similar role, or applicable education equivalent
- Comfortable using multiple software programs to navigate and troubleshoot customer shipping scenarios
- Ability to communicate (speak & comprehend) English clearly & proficiently
- Must be Bilingual (French & English)
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day communication, via phone and handheld, with an assigned fleet of drivers to ensure proper load instructions are passed along and carried out
- Line uploads to ensure the best time efficiency and load factor
- Manage service concerns, as required, to limit exposure and minimize impact to the customer
- Coordinate maintenance to city tractors and trailers
- Assist other dispatch staff as required during spikes in workload
- Assist other dispatch staff as required by preparing and analyzing various reports as required.
