Job Description:
Nonna's cucina is looking for experienced and reliable Line Cooks/Prep Cooks to join our kitchen on Commercial Drive. If you care about product and have at least 1 year of experience, this job is for you. We are looking for someone who is organized, calm under pressure an interested in growing potencial. Weekend and evening availability a must.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, ensuring proper garnishing and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation, following established sanitation and food safety standards.
- Properly handle, label, store, and rotate ingredients.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Assist with prep, cleaning, and closing duties as required.
- Support other stations and team members when necessary.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of professional kitchen experience is required.
- FoodSafe certification
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Genuine passion for food and Italian cuisine.

Requirements:
- If non-national, must have a valid open work permit for at leat 12 months.
