Drive operational excellence as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with APEX in the Aerospace Component Manufacturing Group. This full-time role focuses on process development, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will report directly to the Group Manager and actively engage on the manufacturing floor. This challenging position involves enhancing manufacturing efficiency, quality, productivity, and implementing state-of-the-art technologies, including AI and CNC automation. You will lead improvement projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and turn innovative ideas into actionable results. Take charge of process enhancements, automation, and technology integration at APEX for greater manufacturing success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and waste reduction strategies
- Evaluate and adopt recent manufacturing technologies
- Develop KPIs and dashboards for operations
- Actively participate in root cause investigations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience
- Aerospace or regulated workplace experience preferred
- Professional Engineering designation is an asset
- Robust skills in CNC machining and automation technologies
