Warehouse Receptionist

Job Responsibility:

Position Overview:

As the Warehouse Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our auction house by providing administrative support to various departments and maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Direct guests to their items and ensure accuracy.
• Daily preparation of invoices and deliveries is essential to maintain a seamless workflow for the following day.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls, taking messages when necessary and handling inquiries with professionalism and discretion.
• Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
• Assist with the registration process for auctions, including processing paperwork, answering questions, and providing support to clients.
• Handle incoming and outgoing e-mails. Handling packages and deliveries, distributing them to the appropriate recipients.
• Maintain office supplies inventory, ordering supplies as needed and ensuring stock levels are sufficient.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, scanning, and photocopying.
• Provide administrative support to various departments as needed, including assisting with research, preparing documents, and organizing files.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow within the warehouse.

This is subject to change and may include additional responsibilities as needed to support the operations of the auction house.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other basic office software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Full-Time / Monday-Friday / 9:00am - 5:00pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
