Director of Data Centre Engineering Bell

Lead Bell’s national Data Centre Engineering team as a Director. Drive innovations in mechanical and electrical design to support the transformative AI Fabric program. As a Director at Bell, you will provide strategic leadership for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering teams. Your expertise will guide the design and operational readiness of high-density AI and GPU-optimized data centres. Foster relationships with customers while leading complex design discussions and shaping data centre solutions for the Canadian market. Key Responsibilities:
- Guide Mechanical and Electrical Engineering design and planning
- Drive AI and GPU-optimized data centre engineering vision
- Serve as consultative technical advisor in customer interactions
- Develop and enhance engineering standards and playbooks
- Lead risk assessments and capacity planning for AI workloads
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering
- 12½+ years’ experience in data centre engineering
- 5+ years leading multidisciplinary teams
- Deep knowledge of data centre industry standards
- Strong communication and influence skills
