In this critical position at CHEO, you will provide strategic oversight for clinical engineering services, directing a dedicated team of 70 professionals committed to excellence in healthcare. Your leadership will ensure the effective management of clinical technology, supporting operations across 30 healthcare sites serving over 500,000 children annually while focusing on innovation and quality improvement initiations. Key Responsibilities:
- Guide departmental strategy and operational priorities
- Manage operating budgets and contract negotiations
- Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders
- Promote efficiency in clinical equipment procurement and use
- Implement quality standards and safety legislation compliance
- University degree in relevant discipline
- About ten years of healthcare experience
- At least five years in leadership roles
- Biomedical engineering or healthcare field expertise
- Strong project management and relationship-building skills
