Investment Client Development Lead
Validus Risk Management Ltd.
Lead client-focused business development as an Investment Client Development Lead at Validus. This role emphasizes revenue growth through strategic engagement with institutional investors. In this dual-reporting position, you will work closely with both the Chief Investment Officer and the Head of North American Client Coverage. Your focus will be on originating new revenue opportunities in investment products, driving engagement with clients like pension funds and endowments. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities across targeted investor segments
- Sustain a productive pipeline while converting leads into mandates
- Oversee client interactions from initial contact to contract signing
- Enhance existing relationships through upsell opportunities
- Manage detailed sales tracking and updates to management
- Sales background in investment or structured products
- Strong knowledge of derivatives and investment solutions
- Proven ability to manage relationships with decision makers
- Time management and communication proficiency
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel and CRM systems
