Investment Products Business Development Lead

Step into a lead role focusing on investment products at Validus. The main goal is to develop business opportunities while acting as a pivotal link between clients and the investment team. The Investment Products Business Development Lead will target institutional investors, including pension funds and foundations, to drive new business growth. As the primary commercial interface, you'll focus on expanding client relationships and increasing revenue through strategic upselling while also managing a team of specialists. Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and execute business development strategies with new clients
  • Build and maintain a sustainable pipeline of potential clients
  • Lead comprehensive client engagements through all stages
  • Identify opportunities for upselling with current clients
  • Attend events to expand professional network and drive business
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in sales of investment or structured products
  • Proven relationship-building capabilities with key decision makers
  • Strong time management and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving and opportunity identification
