Are you creative, organized, and ready to turn ideas into action? We’re looking for a Marketing and Events Manager to manage our social media, plan and execute events, and create engaging retail merchandising. This position covers a small group of companies local to Edmonton, consisting of 7 locations in 4 malls and reliable transportation is required. Together there are 3 Video Game locations, 3 Music/Movie locations, and 1 Clothing Retail location covered under this position.
Primary responsibilities:
• Manage social media accounts, including content creation, posting, and audience engagement.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute events, promotions, and convention appearances.
• Develop merchandising displays that showcase products and support sales.
Required qualifications:
• A valid driver’s licence and your own reliable transportation.
• Strong organization, communication, and time-management skills.
• The ability to take initiative and follow projects through to completion.
Additional assets:
• Previous experience in a marketing position. (New Graduates are welcome to apply!)
• Retail experience and/or knowledge of video games, movie and music media, and alternative fashion.
• Experience working at or coordinating conventions and events.
