Program Manager (Community Social Services) (Prince Rupert)

At the forefront of service delivery to individuals, families and communities, TCS is seeking skilled, experienced and self‑directed managers to assist in the development of staffed homes and/or community‑based programs for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of staff members working in community, staffed home and/or community‑based programming;
• Developing community activities and opportunities to enhance the inclusion and acceptance of individuals with developmental disabilities;
• Participating in a person‑centered planning process for individuals; and
• Managing a staffed home.

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you must demonstrate extensive experience as a Community Service Worker in a staffed home and/or community setting. Supervisory experience, mediation and advocacy skills are an asset. You must have a sincere commitment to providing quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

As the successful candidate, you will be an excellent interpersonal communicator and able to maintain a flexible schedule as necessary. You will also be a team player that this is able to build relationships with individuals, families, staff members, employers and government ministries and organizations.

This is a salaried management position, with an annual starting salary of $71,020.56, based on education, credentials, and experience. The compensation package includes company‑paid benefits, and a defined benefit pension plan through the Municipal Pension Plan.
