Overview
Location: Prince Rupert, BC V8J 2A6Salary: 41.42 to 55.91 hourly (to be negotiated) / 37.5 hours per weekTerms of employment: Permanent, full time
Work Setting
Work must be completed at the physical location; no remote option. Relocation costs will be covered by the employer.
Responsibilities
- Address and document symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions
- Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
- Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families
- Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
- Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
Qualifications, Licences and Certificates
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- Certified Nurse in Critical Care – Canada (CNCC‑C)
- First Aid Certificate
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
- Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work
