Port Financial Leadership: Director Finance

Shape the financial future at the Port of Prince Rupert as Director of Finance. This vital role focuses on strategic financial decisions and leadership of financial reporting functions. In this position, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will oversee all financial operations at the Port, guiding a dedicated finance team. Your leadership will empower a culture of excellence and foster collaboration across departments. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop financial strategies aligned with long-term objectives
- Lead financial reporting and internal controls
- Provide strategic advice to executive leadership
- Identify innovative strategies for operational goals
- Prepare detailed financial performance reports
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required
- 7-10 years leadership experience in financial roles
- CPA or MBA designation preferred
- Exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience managing complex projects
