Tax Manager – Domestic Tax
Join our Domestic Tax team as a Tax Manager . You will work with a wide variety of clients and gain experience in new industries. At Doane Grant Thornton, you’ll learn from some of Canada’s top Tax experts and chart your unique career journey.
About the Team
Our team consists of over 400 tax professionals collaborating across service lines such as Advisory and Specialty Tax.
Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor a team of tax colleagues on compliance, discussing tax planning options.
- Establish deep trusting relationships with clients and advise them on complex tax matters.
- Review corporate compliance engagements and analyze, review, and complete corporate, personal, and trust income tax returns.
- Proactively resolve tax related issues with clients and other team members.
- Lead the management of our growing tax practice, identifying and developing new opportunities for additional tax services.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in, or completed, the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course, or hold a Masters of Taxation degree.
- Experience in corporate and personal Canadian tax planning and/or compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and tax solutions for clients.
- Track record of mentoring and developing others.

Salary
Current salary range for this role is $80,000–$125,400 in Prince George, BC. Salary ranges are reviewed annually and may vary for other locations.
