Course Description: This is a hands-on course that deals with technical and theoretical issues of contemporary painting. The act of painting and the relevance of painting are stressed through both historical and current issues.

Sessional Lecturer I: $ 9,997.58
Sessional Lecturer I Long Term: $ 10,699.22
Sessional Lecturer II $ 10,699.22
Sessional Lecturer II Long Term: $ 10,953.96
Sessional Lecturer III: $ 10,953.96
Sessional Lecturer III Long Term: $ 11,228.90

Minimum Qualifications : MA or MFA (or equivalent graduate degree) required with previous teaching experience. Strong exhibition history and currently exhibiting artist. Applicants may be asked to supply references.
Preferred Qualifications: Internationally recognized practice.
Description of Duties: Preparation and delivery of course material; managing digital teaching materials and platform, supervision of teaching assistants; preparation and delivery of assignments, tests, final examinations and deferred final examinations; marking of student work, submission of grades, dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions and student contact hours.
