Enhance patient care as a Radiography Technologist at St. Joseph's Health Centre, part of Unity Health Toronto. This role involves delivering high-quality X-ray services in a diverse, inclusive atmosphere. As an X-ray Technologist, you will be part of a dedicated team, responsible for executing a range of X-ray and Fluoroscopy exams. Your duties will extend to consulting with radiologists and coordinating with nursing units to address patient-specific needs. Engaging in quality improvement while adhering to safety protocols is crucial. You will also play a role in inventory management and protocol development. Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and communicate effectively on X-ray procedures
- Ensure comprehensive documentation and diagnostic results
- Develop collaborative relationships with healthcare teams
- Support visually impaired patients and provide personalized care
- Participate actively in quality control and assurance programs
- Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario
- Minimum 2-3 years in Radiologic Technology
- Updated CPR certification required
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
