Senior Civil Engineer at CNL

Join CNL as a Senior Civil Engineer at the Chalk River Laboratory in a fully onsite capacity. This position focuses on project leadership, design excellence, and engineering team development. CNL is actively seeking a Civil Engineer to manage both nuclear and non-nuclear projects. Your role will encompass overseeing engineering initiatives from concept through to completion while mentoring the next generation of engineers. You will ensure adherence to project milestones, quality, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee engineering projects from initial design through execution
- Guide and mentor team members for professional growth
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Perform load assessments and manage design updates
- Coordinate with external entities for design assessments
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- 12 years of applicable engineering experience
- Demonstrated leadership in directing projects
- Superior communication skills for engaging presentations
- Required eligibility for security clearance
