Logistic Manager

**Logistics Manager  Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan**

Agrocorp Processing Ltd. is seeking an experienced, hands-on Logistics Manager to lead our Canadian logistics function. The role is responsible for the safe, timely, compliant and cost-effective movement of inbound and outbound products by truck, rail, container, transload and bulk vessel.

**Key Responsibilities**
Lead Canadian logistics employees and overseas support.
Plan and execute shipments, aligning product readiness, plant capacity, rail supply, ocean bookings and delivery commitments.
Manage railcar supply and movement and minimize demurrage, detention and storage costs.
Negotiate freight rates and maintain relationships with carriers, railways, freight forwarders and ports.
Ensure accurate and timely shipping and regulatory documentation.
Coordinate with Trading, Procurement, Plant Operations, Quality, Finance and international teams.
Monitor logistics costs, claims, customer deductions and operational risks.
Develop SOPs, reporting tools and KPIs that improve accountability and profitability.

**What You Bring**
Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Strong logistics/supply-chain experience in agricultural commodities, bulk products, rail, trucking, containers, transloading or ocean freight.
Leadership experience and knowledge of freight negotiation, documentation, demurrage and cost control.
Strong judgment, planning, communication and Excel skills.
