Hello, I'm Bianka, Senior Team Leader at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in accounting, finance, and payroll. I handle both temporary and permanent recruitment in the Greater Montreal area.

Position Context


This position has been created to support the growth of the Accounts Payable team in the context of a technological and organizational transformation. The role needs to be filled quickly to support this transition.




Responsibilities


The successful candidate will report to our Accounts Payable Controller.


Your main responsibilities will include:
• Entering invoices into the system
• Preparing payments: validating with project managers and collecting approvals
• Matching payments to invoices and following up on discrepancies


You will have regular contact with vendors (via email) and internal teams to ensure the accurate and smooth processing of payments. The team handles a volume of approximately 1,500 invoices per month.

Candidate Profile


Education & Experience
- Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Accounting or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience in a high-volume invoice processing environment


Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes
- Comfortable using accounting systems and Excel
- Experience with an ERP system is a significant asset




Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Analytical mindset with strong prioritization skills
- Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to learn
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (internal and external stakeholders)
