Director of Finance and Accounting Leadership

Step into a Director of Finance role with a national distributor focused on essential sectors. Lead a finance team while driving strategic financial initiatives and improving performance. Our client is looking for a hands-on Director of Finance to manage financial operations and reporting, leading a team of six under the President’s direction. This role requires expertise in budgeting, compliance, and internal controls to enhance overall business performance and efficiency. Your leadership will significantly impact strategic growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct financial management and strategic support
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and operational analysis
- Manage accounting and cash flow operations
- Ensure regulatory compliance and governance practices
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Must possess CPA certification
- Degree in Finance or related field
- Over 5 years of leadership experience
- Strong expertise in financial reporting and budgeting
- High proficiency in financial software and Excel
