In this role, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert in batch scheduling conversions, particularly specializing in migrations to IBM Z Workload Scheduler. You will analyze legacy systems, execute migration cycles, and provide technical support. Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities will be essential to ensure seamless transitions and resolve issues across teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead migrations to IBM Z Workload Scheduler
- Translate legacy scheduling definitions into IZWS
- Execute validation and track parallel processes
- Monitor batch workloads for issues
- Collaborate with various teams to address migration challenges
- 5+ years in mainframe (z/OS) environments
- 5+ years with IBM Z Workload Scheduler
- Advanced knowledge of TSO/ISPF
- Proficient in Job Control Language (JCL)
- Experience with REXX for automation
