Associate Medical Clinic
Associate Medical Clinic has an opening for a full-time Medical Office Assistant.
Our Clinic has 11 family physicians, 7 general surgeons, and 1 internist. We are open Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm closed evenings and weekends. Duties include but not limited to:Answering the phone, schedule and confirm appointments, greet and check-in patients, update patient records, assist the physician with patients, stocking examination rooms with supplies. Perform minor laboratory duties and other duties as assigned. This position requires a Grade 12 Diploma/GED equivalency, confident using computer software, strong English skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, maturity and a positive demeanor, able to be flexible and adapt to new or changing requirements, and be willing to take direction well. Experience in the medical field is an asset - however training for the right candidate will be provided. The ideal candidate for this position will possess excellent communication skills and an abundance of patience and politeness.
