Senior EDI Manager, IT

$150k - $180k per year

Actual annual compensation offered will be based on several variables including geographic location, work experience, education, and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. The average compensation for this role is $150,000.00-180,000.00 CAD Job Purpose

The EDI Senior Manager provides strategic, operational, and technical leadership for TD SYNNEX's EDI and integration ecosystem across the Americas. This role is accountable for the reliability, scalability, modernization, and governance of all EDI and B2B integration services that enable critical data exchange with business partners. The EDI Senior Manager leads a team of system engineers, ensures stable and secure day‑to‑day operations, drives continuous improvement, and advances modern integration capabilities-including APIs, microservices and event‑driven architectures-to support business growth and maximize trading partner value. Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations

Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing EDI and integration team, including staffing, performance management, coaching, and career development. Oversee daily EDI production operations, ensuring high availability, SLA compliance, and timely resolution of incidents. Establish operational standards, best practices, documentation, and performance metrics. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex EDI, integration, or cross‑functional issues. Technical Strategy & System Ownership

Define and own the EDI and integration architecture roadmap, including modernization initiatives. Oversee solution design, technical standards, testing practices, and deployment readiness. Ensure all solutions comply with security, architecture, and data governance standards. Own assigned EDI and integration platforms and applications, including stability, performance, documentation, and lifecycle management. Trading Partner & Stakeholder Engagement

Manage trading partner relationships and oversee onboarding of new trading customers, including customers, vendors, carriers, and banks. Collaborate closely with business units, PMO, IT application teams, infrastructure, and security to ensure alignment with business priorities. Promote strong communication and collaboration across internal teams and external partners. Project, Portfolio & Vendor Management

Oversee the EDI project and enhancement portfolio, including modernization initiatives. Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues as needed. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

Identify process, automation, and technology improvements that enhance reliability, scalability, and partner experience. Drive adoption of modern integration patterns and a culture of operational excellence and accountability. Knowledge, Education & Experience

15+ years of progressive experience in EDI, B2B integration, and enterprise IT development. 10+ years of experience leading and developing technical teams. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (required). Experience in large‑scale, high‑volume, or distribution‑focused environments is strongly preferred. Technical & Integration Expertise

Deep expertise with EDI platforms and translators (e.g., IBM Sterling Integrator, Axway AS2). Strong knowledge of EDI, XML, flat file formats, and B2B integration patterns. Proficiency in SQL, Linux scripting, and technical design/code reviews. Experience with AS2, sFTP, VANs, and secure data transport protocols. Working knowledge of API‑based integrations, microservices architecture, cloud‑native architectures, and event‑driven systems. Exposure to AI‑enabled tools, with a strong willingness to adopt and responsibly leverage AI to improve EDI operations, monitoring, testing, and delivery efficiency. Leadership & Professional Skills

Proven ability to lead and integrate multi‑cultural, multi‑skilled internal and external teams. Strong stakeholder, vendor, and trading partner management skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes. Structured thinker with strong decision‑making ability in fast‑paced, high‑impact environments. High integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment. Additional Skills

Knowledge of IT distribution processes and industry best practices is a strong plus. Mandarin proficiency is a plus, particularly for collaboration with Asia‑based teams and partners. Personal Attributes

La rémunération annuelle réelle offerte sera déterminée en fonction de plusieurs variables, notamment le lieu de travail, l'expérience professionnelle, la formation ainsi que les compétences et réalisations, et sera convenue mutuellement au moment de l'offre. La rémunération moyenne pour ce poste se situe entre 150 000 et 180 000 CA. Objectif du poste

La ou le gestionnaire principal(e) ÉDI assure le leadership stratégique, opérationnel et technique de l'écosystème ÉDI et d'intégration de TD SYNNEX dans les Amériques. Ce rôle est responsable de la fiabilité, de l'évolutivité, de la modernisation et de la gouvernance de l'ensemble des services ÉDI et d'intégration B2B qui permettent les échanges de données critiques avec nos partenaires d'affaires. La ou le gestionnaire principal(e) ÉDI dirige une équipe d'ingénierie des systèmes, garantit des opérations stables et sécuritaires au quotidien, stimule l'amélioration continue et fait progresser les capacités d'intégration modernes - notamment les API, les microservices et les architectures axées sur les événements - afin de soutenir la croissance de l'entreprise et de maximiser la valeur pour les partenaires commerciaux. Responsabilités clés

Leadership et opérations

Diriger, encadrer et développer une équipe ÉDI et d'intégration performante, incluant la dotation, la gestion du rendement, le coaching et le développement de carrière. Superviser les opérations de production ÉDI quotidiennes en assurant une haute disponibilité, le respect des SLA (ententes de niveau de service) et la résolution rapide des incidents. Établir des normes opérationnelles, de meilleures pratiques, de la documentation et des indicateurs de performance. Agir comme point d'escalade principal pour les enjeux ÉDI, d'intégration ou transverses complexes. Stratégie technique et responsabilité des systèmes

Définir et porter la feuille de route d'architecture ÉDI et d'intégration, y compris les initiatives de modernisation. Superviser la conception des solutions, les normes techniques, les pratiques d'essais et la préparation aux déploiements. S'assurer que toutes les solutions respectent les normes de sécurité, d'architecture et de gouvernance des données. Assumer la responsabilité des plateformes et applications ÉDI et d'intégration assignées, notamment leur stabilité, leur performance, leur documentation et leur gestion du cycle de vie. Relations avec les partenaires commerciaux et parties prenantes

Gérer les relations avec les partenaires d'échange et superviser l'intégration de nouveaux partenaires commerciaux, y compris des clients, des fournisseurs, des transporteurs et des banques. Collaborer étroitement avec les unités d'affaires, le PMO, les équipes d'applications TI, l'infrastructure et la sécurité pour assurer l'alignement sur les priorités d'affaires. Promouvoir des communications et une collaboration solides entre les équipes internes et les partenaires externes. Gestion de projets, de portefeuille et des fournisseurs

Superviser le portefeuille de projets et d'améliorations ÉDI, y compris les initiatives de modernisation. Gérer la portée, les échéanciers, les budgets, les risques et les dépendances, en escaladant les enjeux au besoin. Amélioration continue et innovation

Plus de 15 ans d'expérience progressive en ÉDI (échange de données informatisées), intégration B2B et développement TI d'entreprise. Plus de 10 ans d'expérience en direction et développement d'équipes techniques. Baccalauréat en informatique, systèmes d'information, génie ou domaine connexe (exigé). Expérience dans des environnements de grande envergure, à volume élevé ou axés sur la distribution fortement souhaitée. Expertise technique et en intégration

Solide expertise des plateformes et traducteurs ÉDI (p. ex., IBM Sterling Integrator, Axway AS2). Connaissance approfondie de l'ÉDI, des formats XML et fichiers plats, et des modèles d'intégration B2B. Maîtrise de SQL, du scripting Linux et des revues de conception technique et de code. Expérience avec AS2, SFTP, les VAN (réseaux à valeur ajoutée) et les protocoles sécurisés de transport de données. Connaissance des processus de distribution TI et des meilleures pratiques sectorielles, un atout important. La maîtrise du mandarin constitue un atout, particulièrement pour collaborer avec des équipes et partenaires basés en Asie. Profil et qualités personnelles
