We are seeking an expert Senior Middleware Specialist to take technical ownership of the design, deployment, automation, and operational support of enterprise-scale cloud and hybrid hosting environments. In this role, you will bridge the gap between application development and core infrastructure, ensuring high-volume web services run securely, efficiently, and at optimal capacity. Operating across multi-platform landscapes, you will design application publishing tracks, manage data proxies, enforce strict cloud perimeter settings, and maintain the pipeline automation frameworks required for reliable, continuous service delivery.

Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure & Hosting Architecture: Contribute to the technical design of scalable cloud environments using Microsoft Azure Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) models, implementing migration strategies and re-platforming applications as needed.

Application Publishing & Proxy Engineering: Architect and manage secure web application publication pathways to the internet and intranet using network proxies, web application firewalls, and application gateways.

CI/CD Pipeline & Task Automation: Build, configure, and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines within Azure DevOps to enable rapid application development workflows.

Enterprise Scripting & Automation: Automate complex migration tracks and day-to-day operational infrastructure tasks using PowerShell and VBS scripting utilities.

Hybrid Networking & Access Controls: Configure cloud networking constructs, including virtual networks (VNets) and Network Security Groups (NSGs). Design and implement access policies using identity management tools and cloud policy systems.

Tier-2 and Tier-3 Operational Support: Deliver advanced troubleshooting and resolution for intricate runtime issues spanning virtual machines, app services, container clusters, and database layers.

Cloud Optimization & Financial Right-Sizing: Proactively monitor cloud resource telemetry, analyze consumption patterns, and formulate financial right-sizing recommendations to optimize cost efficiency.

System Maintenance & Security Baselining: Oversee operating system and middleware patching schedules across multi-platform setups (Windows Server 2019+ and RedHat Linux 8+), tracking security events and tuning diagnostic dashboards.

Knowledge Transfer & Technical Guidance: Author standard operating guides, update system documentation repositories, and deliver structured training to internal technical staff to elevate collective troubleshooting capabilities.

Qualifications
Core Middleware & Cloud Seniority: 8+ years of progressive professional experience in system analysis, infrastructure engineering, and middleware administration across enterprise environments.

Advanced Azure Engineering Skills: Extensive practical experience designing, building, and supporting Microsoft Azure (IaaS and PaaS) components, including App Service Plans, Kubernetes Services, and secure storage solutions.

Pipeline Automation & Scripting Mastery: Proven hands-on experience building out CI/CD tracks via Azure DevOps paired with robust scripting automation proficiency in PowerShell and VBS.

Proxy & Network Publishing Acumen: Deep technical knowledge of web servers and network proxies (such as F5 and Azure Application Gateway) to safely publish .NET applications and endpoints to the internet.

Multi-OS Server Competency: Demonstrated experience configuring, patching, and maintaining Microsoft Windows Server 2019+ (IIS 10.0+) and Linux environments (RedHat Linux 8+).

Network & Security Protocol Literacy: Solid functional command of DNS resolution topologies, Network Security Groups (NSGs), firewalls, SSL/TLS certificates, and Public-Key Infrastructure (PKI).

Telemetry & Deep Triage Capability: Expert-level capacity troubleshooting multi-platform environments using server logs, SQL routing traces, and telemetry suites like Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

Cloud Cost Stewardship: Proven background analyzing system performance data to right-size virtual assets and generate data-backed financial recommendations for cloud infrastructure.

Methodological Grounding: Experience operating effectively within structured Agile, DevOps, and ITIL framework delivery settings.
